What is Mobile Reviews?
Mobile Reviews is a high-quality web page review site run by Clem, a teenager from Canada, with occasional guest reviews from various other people. It’s my aim to provide you with a thorough review that covers all aspects of your site and highlights the areas that could use improvement as well as those that stand out as excellent. I write reviews based on the website, not on the person—in other words, I can think you’re a great person but still give your site 1.5 stars out of 5.
What if I disagree with your review(s)?
I would love to hear what you have to say, especially if you can phrase it in an intelligent and polite manner. Comments are open on all reviews for this reason, and you are free to leave a comment whether you agree or disagree! I’ve received a good amount of idiotic comments and I can handle criticism from unhappy reviewees or their friends, but I would appreciate it if you use coherent language and stay calm. I’m more likely to respond to your comment at all, particularly in a polite, intelligent way, if you do this!
When should I expect my review to be completed?
Depending on the size of the queue, your review could take anywhere from 3 weeks to a few months. I’m busy with high school and the load of work that comes with it as well as friends, family, other hobbies, and other online projects. I realise that you’re probably impatient, and waiting a few months for your review isn’t ideal, but the wait should be well worth it!
What can I expect from your reviews?
First and foremost, you should expect honesty. I am not going to sugarcoat anything—instead, I will point out every nitpicky detail that I notice about your website. I will, of course, give you credit where it’s due.
You should also expect sarcasm. I am a sarcastic person by nature, and almost all of my reviews reflect this. If you can’t handle mildly sarcastic remarks, you may not want to apply for a review!
Of course, you should also expect a thorough and detailed review that praises you where it’s due and gives you plenty of suggestions and ideas for expanding your website. I spend hours on each review to make sure it’s the best that it can be, and to make sure that I have covered everything. Some of my older reviews may be short, but in recent times, my reviews have been 2000-4000 words in length, because it’s my aim to be very thorough.
Are there are any rules that I should know of before I submit?
There aren’t really any rules, but there are some guidelines that you should definitely know about!
- If you can’t handle criticism, don’t submit! People seem to overlook this and then throw a fit when they receive a review that isn’t filled with praise. Even if you think your site is great, I might not. So if the idea of criticism makes you feel uncomfortable, save yourself some grief and don’t submit.
- I would really appreciate it if you linked Mobile somewhere on your website. This isn’t necessary, but it would show that you appreciate the time and effort I put into making your review the best it can be. Some recognition is nice! (Your score won’t be affected if you choose not to link Mobile.)
- I have the right to reject reviewing your website for any reason.
